Job description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

An experienced OT is required to assess people in receipt of a package of care to ensure high quality OT interventions supporting people to live safely and independently in their homes and facilitate timely hospital discharge. Experience in single handed care, as well as moving and handling is essential.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Degree in Occupational Therapy
  2. Must be registered with Health Professions Council (HPC)
  3. Minimum of 2 years experience of working with older people and people with mental health or physical disabilities
  4. The ability to build strong working partnerships
  5. Good interpersonal skills
  6. Decision making and organisational skills
  7. The ability to explain, encourage and build confidence
  8. The ability to create a rapport with a range of people, especially people with disabilities
Health and Safety:
  1. Awareness of health & safety issues
Personal Protective Equipment:
  1. Must be of smart appearance
