We are seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist, preferably trained in Sensory Integration, to develop and deliver an occupational therapy service within Ruskin Mill’s Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (PSTE) framework and Rudolf Steiner’s human development approach. The role involves addressing sensory and self-regulation needs as outlined in students’ EHC plans.
Training in PSTE will be provided. Ideally, candidates will have knowledge of or be open to Steiner principles of holistic and experiential education and therapeutic care.
Sunfield Specialist School and Children’s Home, located in the scenic Clent Hills, West Midlands, offers outdoor learning and practical activities in a farm, walled garden, and woodlands setting. Sunfield is part of Ruskin Mill Trust, founded in 1984, an educational charity operating across the UK, dedicated to supporting young people with autism and other learning differences through practical land and craft activities inspired by Rudolf Steiner, John Ruskin, and William Morris.
