This role is based at Lakeside School.
Lakeside School is a specialist primary and secondary day school in Liverpool, providing high-quality education for boys and girls with special educational needs including ADHD, autism, speech, language & communication difficulties, and social & emotional difficulties.
Our clinicians are a vital part of the most integrated model in SEND, offering extensive clinical support across our specialist schools and children’s homes. Our young people present with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and other special educational needs.
As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will work alongside Occupational Therapists who are sensory integration practitioners with an on-site Sensory Integration room. The team also includes a Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapists, a Counsellor, and an Art Therapist. You will support our on-site Occupational Therapy Apprentice and collaborate with educational staff to create therapeutic learning environments, providing individualized interventions based on clinical assessments.
Our Occupational Therapists work closely within our schools and homes to ensure therapeutic support influences all aspects of education, care, and support. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams.
