Sheffield City Council is expanding its Social Care Occupational Therapy Team in Sheffield. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred OT for adults at home, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and independence.
We seek HCPC-registered OTs with experience in community, hospital, or local authority settings. The role offers hybrid working, development opportunities, generous leave, and a clear progression framework to Grade 8.

Following the successful launch of our new Social Care Occupational Therapy Team six months ago, we are now expanding the service and recruiting additional Occupational Therapists to build on the positive outcomes already being achieved across Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team that is helping to transform how occupational therapy is delivered within Adult Social Care. In addition to supporting people with assessed needs, the team is developing a stronger focus on prevention and early intervention, helping people to maintain independence for longer and reducing the need for formal care and support.

This role involves ICT use, manual handling, and working with clients in a variety of settings.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
You must be able to converse confidently in English as per the Immigration Act 2016.
If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
