A local authority in Wales is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to support individuals in achieving independence through effective therapy interventions. The role involves working closely with a supportive team, offering professional development opportunities and engaging in meaningful community service. This position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month. Please note this additional payment will be reviewed on 31 March 2026.

Following the continued expansion of the Through Age Occupational Therapy team, this new qualified OT role has been created. While this role sits primarily within the triage team, close working links with technology-enabled care, enablement, and the Penmorfa Centre for Independent Living are essential. Creating exciting broad clinical opportunities for professional development.
This role is part of the Through Age Wellbeing Occupational Therapy team, positioned within triage and assessment team, dealing with potential referral first contacts. You’ll be actively using Occupational Therapy assessment skills and approaches, working directly with service users, remotely and within their homes, reducing risk and promoting independence from point of first contact with social services.
You will develop productive professional relationships and in-depth knowledge of Ceredigion’s services, ensuring people receive appropriate advice, information, and service access in a timely manner, maximising quality, meaningful personal outcomes. You will be key in supporting unqualified staff, moving forward planned innovation and positive change as part of team Ceredigion.
