Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only. There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks). Please get in touch to discuss.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to support our vulnerable pupils, ensuring their safety, comfort, and occupational and sensory needs are met throughout their day. Your duties will include conducting assessments, creating bespoke interventions, and preparing documentation such as reports and sensory profiles. You will also provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.

You will work within our well-established, supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants, to foster an environment where pupils can flourish, learn, and develop.

  • Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, mental health, challenging behaviors)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with key partners
  • Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
