Job description

The post involves working closely within the wider Therapy Team, consisting of unregistered Therapy staff, Physiotherapists and Health & Exercise Practitioners, but will also include liaison with nursing staff, other health professionals, carers and relevant individuals. A commitment to to team working is essential.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate effective clinical reasoning skills, apply theory to practice and communicate effectively with patients, their carers and colleagues alike.

In return, the successful candidate will be supported to utilise evidence based practice, have the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative services in a department based environment. The successful candidate will also receive regular supervision and will encouraged to utilise reflective practice.

You will be expected to have a working knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and complete assessments, care-plans and deliver a range of intervention within the hospital setting and local community.
