Role Summary

We have an exciting month secondment / fixed term opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Urgent Community Response team in the Exeter South & West Cluster. The team is multi-professional, collaborating with OT’s, Physios, Nursing, and support workers.

More about the role

The successful candidate should have a keen interest in rehabilitation and promoting independence for patients with long-term conditions. The team supports hospital discharge and prevention of admissions, working to optimize patients’ abilities and quality of life. There is close collaboration with community rehabilitation and nursing teams, with structured supervision and training programs.

The service operates from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, covering areas including Broadclyst, Pinhoe, Topsham, Exminster, Alphington, St Thomas, and Starcross.

Working hours: The service operates from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, with shifts on a rota basis. Please contact us to discuss working patterns further.
