Job description

Opus People Solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have 8 exciting roles for Occupational Therapist across 3 different locations in Suffolk across (West, Ipswich and North) to join their team.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Length of assignment:6 months
Hours per week: 37 hours
Hourly rate:£35.00-hour umbrella
Location: Suffolk

Location1 -West: West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds

Location 2 - Ipswich: Endeavour House, Ipswich

Location 3-North: Riverside, Lowestoft


Remote/Office based: 2-3 days office 2 days WFH

Job Information:

We are looking to recruit to 8 agency Occupational Therapists for 6 months focused the proactive undertaking of reviews and assessments across the Directorate. This would also support our preparation for the CQC assessment as supported by CLT.

The tasks will include:

  • Providing safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate
  • Supporting with triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to reduce OT waiting lists.
  • Supporting external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
  • Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value of services for ASC and best use of available equipment
  • Reviewing double handed care packages
  • Mutual aid to other OT areas as required

* Provide safe and timely delivery of OT assessments and reviews across the directorate.
