Job summary

LINQ Recruitment Specialists are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with sensory processing experience to support three SEMH school settings for pupils aged 11-18. The role focuses on sensory processing needs with some gross motor support within specialist settings and involves staff training and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out OT assessments and develop sensory-based interventions for pupils.
• Deliver sensory processing and regulation strategies in SEN school settings.
• Support pupils aged 11–18 with complex SEMH needs and associated motor skills.
• Provide staff training and guidance on OT approaches and sensory programmes.

Regional Occupational Therapist (OT) - SEN Schools

LINQ Recruitment Specialists are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with sensory processing experience to work across three specialist SEMH school settings supporting pupils aged 11-18.

The role will focus primarily on sensory processing needs, with some support around gross motor skills, within specialist settings supporting pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs alongside staff training / guidance.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs, autism, ADHD and emotional dysregulation.
• Strong knowledge of sensory processing and emotional regulation strategies.
• Skilled in OT assessments, tailored interventions and sensory programmes.
• Confident working collaboratively with school staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
