Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a fixed-term basis for 11 months. You will rotate across orthopaedic pre‑assessment, post-operative recovery, complex orthopaedic wards, day surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.

The role requires excellent communication, flexibility and the ability to work in a busy environment. NHS Golden Jubilee supports CPD and flexible working options.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a busy, sometimes unpredictable environment.
• Flexibility to work across varying wards and shifts, including seven-day working.

Responsibilities

• Cover orthopaedic pre‑assessment clinic, post‑operative enhanced recovery and complex orthopaedic wards.
• Work in day surgery unit as well as cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.

About The Role

NHS Golden Jubilee provides elective and emergency surgeries to patients throughout Scotland to assist in the reduction of national waiting times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an innovative and forward thinking Occupational Therapy team within NHS Golden Jubilee. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be part of our internal rotation covering; orthopaedic pre-assessment clinic, post-operative enhanced recovery and complex orthopaedic wards, day surgery unit as well as cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.

About You

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be driven and able to work flexibly and effectively in a busy and sometimes unpredictable environment.
