Job summary

Temporary Staffing Agency TSA Limited seeks an experienced Neuro Occupational Therapist for a locum role in Birmingham, within a private hospital’s Neuro Rehabilitation Team. Full-time, Monday–Friday, Sept 2026 to Apr 2027, inpatient and outpatient work.

The successful candidate will manage a varied neurology caseload, provide assessments, rehab programs and treatment plans to maximise independence, discharge planning, and ongoing rehabilitation, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist required.
• Experience in Neurological Rehabilitation essential.
• Experience managing inpatient and outpatient neuro caseloads.
• Strong Upper Limb assessment and rehabilitation skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and organisational abilities.
• Able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead neurological assessments and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient neuro therapies and programmes.
• Contribute to goal setting, discharge planning and ongoing rehab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary neuro rehab team.

LONG TERM- Locum Neuro Occupational Therapist in Birmingham for Private Hospital- With Enhanced Rates.

Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Neuro Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Team within a leading Private Hospital in Birmingham on a locum basis.

Start Date: September 2026
End Date: April 2027
Location: Birmingham
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday-Friday

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within a dedicated Neuro Rehabilitation Service, supporting patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The successful candidate will manage a varied neurological caseload, delivering comprehensive assessments, rehabilitation programmes, and treatment plans to support patients in maximising their independence and functional outcomes.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary neuro rehab team, you will assess and treat patients with a range of neurological conditions and contribute to goal setting, discharge planning, and ongoing rehabilitation programmes.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working within Neurological Rehabilitation
• Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient neuro caseloads
• Strong experience in Upper Limb Assessment and Rehabilitation
• Experience carrying out Cognitive Function Assessments
• Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills
• Experience supporting patients with complex neurological conditions is desirable
• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
