This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. A key aspect involves continual improvement and standardisation of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, codes of practice, good practices, and industry guidelines, as well as promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This role is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and recommend control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control measures such as LEV, PPE, and RPE testing and inspections.
• Deliver occupational hygiene training, including asbestos awareness, dust procedures, and PPE/RPE use and maintenance.
• Conduct assurance activities, including inspections and audits across all operational sites, covering occupational health, hygiene standards, and facility areas.
• Maintain calibration systems for occupational hygiene equipment.
