You will be the go-to expert for chemical risk assessments, proactively identifying and evaluating workplace health hazards through inspections and sampling. 2. Being our proactive Occupational Hygiene expert: Identify, monitor, and evaluate potential health hazards, developing solutions like engineering controls and PPE.
  3. Ensuring compliance: Be the key contact for UK health and safety legislation, ensuring practices meet or exceed HSE standards.
  4. Qualifications and Experience: Hold a BOHS qualification (or be actively working towards it) or an equivalent in chemical risk assessment. Proven experience in workplace risk assessments for chemical exposure, monitoring strategies within the UK, and proficiency with industrial hygiene monitoring equipment and data analysis.
  5. Developing and implementing exposure control measures: Including engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE.
  6. Commitment to integrity and compliance: Be aware of potential risks and act responsibly, supporting the company's reputation and growth.
  7. Personal and professional growth: Airbus supports development with tailored solutions, fostering diversity and inclusion, and ensuring equal opportunities.
  8. Additional Benefits: Competitive salary, flexible working, personal development programs, health and wellbeing benefits, family and caregiving support, and an inclusive environment.
