Job summary

Future Select Limited is recruiting on behalf of a respected Health and Safety employer for an Occupational Hygiene Consultant based around Slough, Berkshire. You will perform risk assessments, LEV inspections and sampling across client sites, with occasional travel beyond the M25.

The ideal candidate holds BOHS modules (P601 and/or P602) and may have W503/W201/W506/W502/W507 modules, plus strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills. A company vehicle and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Experience / Qualifications: Excellent track record as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant.
• Must hold BOHS modules (P601 and/or P602).
• Ideally hold modules: W503, W201, W506, W502 and/or W507.
• Professional manner; good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments, inspections, testing and sampling across client sites.
• Assess vibration, noise, dust, fumes and air quality levels.
• Conduct LEV inspections and assessments; COSHH assessments.
• Safely collect and store samples and compile detailed technical reports.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and technical advice.

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and respected name within the Health and Safety industry. Due to recent company growth, they are seeking a professional and switched-on Occupational Hygiene Consultant in the South Eastern region. We are seeking an individual who demonstrates a natural interest in the industry, with robust technical knowledge and methodical work approach. The bulk of work will be in / around the M25, however travel outside the region will be required on occasion. For hardworking individuals, they are able to implement further modules and training. Salaries on offer are competitive and packages include: company vehicle, overtime opportunities, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:

The Role:
– Performing risk assessments, inspections, testing and sampling across client sites
– Assessing levels of: vibration, noise, dust, fume and air quality
– LEV inspections and assessments
– Conducting COSHH assessments

– Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
– Contacting clients to provide updates and technical advice and updates
– Travelling in line with company needs
– Maintaining high service standards
– Keeping up-to-date with industry guidelines
