Occupational Health Technician/Trainee Winchester, Basingstoke and Farnborough Area

Location: Winchester, Basingstoke and Farnborough Area, Hampshire

Salary: up to £26,325 + Benefits

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician/Trainee to work in Winchester, Basingstoke and Farnborough Area on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be to:

  • Drive and park a 3.5 ton mobile unit at home
  • Carry out a full remit of health surveillance
  • Conduct Audiometry, Spirometry, and Vision Screening
  • Be willing to travel across the region
  • The area the OHT covers is within 70-80 miles of their home address which reduces overnight stays and provides a better work/life balance.
  • Early or late starts will be required with occasional night shifts and overnight stays. Hotel and meal allowances are paid for by the company.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday – 37.5 hours per week

To apply, you will need to be an experienced Occupational Health Technician with previous health surveillance experience, or you could be a Trainee OH Technician with transferable skills like a degree in Sports Science or experience as an emergency medical technician.

Standard Salary: up to £26,325
Standard Salary with overtime: up to £33,000 calculated on 8-9 hours overtime/week
Trainee OHT Salary: Starting at £23,790 + overtime increasing to £26,325 after passing a 6-month probation period
