Job summary

Occupational Health Staffing Ltd is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to operate a mobile medical unit (MMU) across Bristol and surrounding regions, with travel and occasional nationwide assignments. You will perform health surveillance including audiometry and spirometry, record biometric data, and manage the diary for travel six weeks ahead.

The role requires a manual UK driving licence, flexibility for overnight stays, and the ability to park the MMU near your home address.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive a mobile medical unit (MMU) to client sites.

• Record and manage diary with travel plans around 6 weeks in advance.
• Accept overnight stays; £30 subsistence per night away; access to Premier Inn account; fuel card issuance.

Job description

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Bristol + Travel on a full time permanent basis.

You will be required to undertake regional travel with occasional nationwide travel.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you'll be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.

The role will involve:

• Driving a mobile medical unit (MMU)
• Health Surveillance to include: Audiometry, Spirometry, Height, Weight, BMI, Blood Pressure, Urinalysis, Drug & Alcohol Testing
• You will need to be flexible to travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays
• You will need to be able to park the unit at or near your home address
• Full view of diary 6 weeks in advance
• For every night away £30 subsistence - paid weekly
• Access to Premier Inn account for ease of booking
• Issue of a fuel card

You will need to be an experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills or someone with a sports science degree with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician or Army Medic who can has experience performing baseline measurements. Great opportunity for graduates with a degree in sports science who are seeking their first role in a healthcare setting, providing you have experience in performing baseline measurements.

You will need a manual UK driving licence and will be asked to provide a licence share code generated through the official government website. You will need to drive your own vehicle whilst the van is being prepared.

Salary: up to £27,000 + Benefits
