Occupational Health Staffing Limited in Birmingham is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to drive a mobile medical unit (MMU) and perform health surveillance tests at client sites across the region.

The role requires travel with overnight stays, a 3-week induction and ongoing mentoring. You must hold a manual UK driving licence and drive your own vehicle while the van is prepared. Salary up to £27,000 plus benefits.

Qualificações

• Graduates with a degree in sports science, seeking first role in healthcare, with experience performing baseline measurements.
• Experience in health surveillance measurements (audiometry, spirometry, height/weight/BMI, BP, urinalysis, drug & alcohol testing).
• Willingness to travel regionally with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a mobile medical unit (MMU) across client sites.
• Perform health surveillance measurements: audiometry, spirometry, height, weight, BMI, BP, urinalysis, drug & alcohol testing.
• Travel to client sites with overnight stays as required.
• Park the mobile unit at or near your home address.
• Review the diary six weeks in advance.
• Receive £30 subsistence for each night away (paid weekly).
• Access Premier Inn account for booking.
• Fuel card issued.

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Birmingham + Travel on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to undertake regional travel with occasional nationwide travel. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you’ll be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.

Role

• Driving a mobile medical unit (MMU)
• Health Surveillance to include: Audiometry, Spirometry, Height, Weight, BMI, Blood Pressure, Urinalysis, Drug & Alcohol Testing
• You will need to be flexible to travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays
• You will need to be able to park the unit at or near your home address
• Full view of diary 6 weeks in advance
• For every night away £30 subsistence - paid weekly
• Access to Premier Inn account for ease of booking
• Issue of a fuel card

• You will need a manual UK driving licence and will be asked to provide a licence share code generated through the official government website
• You will need to drive your own vehicle whilst the van is being prepared
