Qualifications

Role: Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Hours: Full time
Salary: GBP27k

I'm looking for an OH Technician to join my client, covering Southampton and surrounding areas. This is a peripatetic role, where you'll be responsible for driving a mobile screening unit, supporting clients in Southampton and surrounding areas, with occasional travel further afield when needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, independence, and making a difference in people s health and wellbeing. You'll be primarily responsible for Southampton and surrounding areas, but may be required to travel further afield when required in line with business needs.

Role:
- Conduct health surveillance screening, including audiometry, spirometry, blood pressure, height/weight/basic health checks, urinalysis
- Support occasional health promotion and wellbeing activities
- Collaborate with the wider clinical team and contribute to a high-quality service
- Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated and ready for use
- Record medical information accurately
- You will cover the Southampton area (ideally up to 1.5 hours max), however on occasion may be required to travel further afield in line with business requirements

Requirements:
- Full clean UK Driving licence
- Based in Southampton, with a secure location to park the vehicle
- Willingness to travel further afield when required and happy to complete overnight stays when required
- Background experience: OH Technician, Ambulance, Paramedic, Sports Science degree with proven hands on experience
- Strong time management, communication and organisation
