Overview

Occupational Health Technician – Peterborough. Salary £24,000 – £27,000 per annum + excellent company benefits. Contracted hours: 37.5 per week (Monday – Friday, with flexible working hours).

No previous experience required. The client will consider applicants from Ambulance Technician, Paramedic, Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Sports Therapist, Phlebotomist or any other Health & Wellbeing background.

Role

OH Talent Solutions are partnering with a valued client to recruit an Occupational Health Technician. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join a forward-thinking Occupational Health & Wellbeing team. You will contribute to the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service and help develop the company and service provision to clients. The role involves interaction with key clients and the successful candidate will assume responsibility for the delivery of OH services provided to clients.

Responsibilities
  • You will provide a range of services onsite and in clinics, including:
  • Health Surveillance (Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Tests, Skin Inspections & HAVS)
  • Pre-Employment Medicals, Assessments & Questionnaires
  • Basic Health Checks (Blood, Glucose, Urinalysis)
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing
  • Phlebotomy
  • Health Promotion & Wellbeing Advice

Services may be required on other sites across the UK depending on business needs, which may involve overnight stays and travel.

Requirements
  • Current or previous experience in Health, Wellbeing or Fitness sectors.
  • Ability to work independently as an Occupational Health Technician.
  • Good teamwork and effective communication & relationship-building skills.
  • Pro-active and motivated with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and undertake overnight stays when required.
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
