A leading paperboard manufacturer is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to improve and maintain employee health and safety at the Workington Mill. Responsibilities include conducting health surveillance, supporting employee wellbeing, and maintaining health records. Holmen Board and Paper is a Swedish company and a member of the Holmen Group. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our clients customers. Since 2013 we have powered the mill almost entirely by fossil fuel free energy. We value our employees and products highly. Today we are approximately 340 co-workers. Our integrated pulp and paperboard mill is located to the west of the beautiful Lake District in the north of England.

About the Occupational Health Technician role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and professional Occupational Health Technician to join our HR Team at the Workington Mill reporting to the HR Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on site 4 days a week within a supportive and proactive environment, where your work will directly contribute to the health, wellbeing, and safety of our employees.

Qualifications & Experience:
We welcome applicants with demonstratable experience in a medical or healthcare setting. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, good IT literacy and attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health are desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
