Job Description:

I am looking for Occupational Health Technicians to join my client's expanding peripatetic team. The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the UK, driving a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to client sites to deliver health surveillance services, based in the Coventry area. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, typically between 8 am and 6 pm.

Initially, the successful candidate will use their personal vehicle or a company hire car until a new company van is provided. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in a supportive environment, with a 4-week training and induction program, along with ongoing mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake health surveillance screening (audiometry, lung function testing, baseline measurements)
  • Accurately record medical information in occupational health records
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is serviceable and clean
  • Support additional tasks such as health promotion activities
  • Assist the occupational health team and ensure accurate data collection
Travel & Overnight Stays:

The role requires parking the MMU near your home overnight and traveling regularly, including overnight stays. You should be comfortable being away from home about 3 out of 4 weeks, with weekends at home.

Salary:

£25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
