Zusammenfassung

SGN is hiring an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to support health, wellbeing and safety across our operational regions. You will deliver health surveillance and screening, support safe working practices and contribute to a professional, high-quality occupational health service.

This fast-paced role requires regular travel across the SGN Patch and offers a structured development pathway towards becoming an Occupational Health Advisor in the future.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registration with occupational health or workplace wellbeing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and professional judgement.
• Excellent communication and empathy when discussing sensitive health matters.
• Confidentiality, consent, governance and meticulous record keeping.
• Experience in audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, face fit testing or drug/alcohol testing is desirable.
• Full UK manual driving licence and willingness to travel.

Aufgaben

• Deliver health surveillance programmes and occupational health screening within your area.
• Undertake baseline, pre-placement and periodic health assessments and take health histories.
• Support safety-critical and pre-employment assessments and escalate when needed.
• Conduct quantitative face fit testing following training and competency sign-off.
• Undertake drug and alcohol testing per company procedures and governance.
• Maintain confidential clinical records and support audits and quality assurance.
• Coordinate appointments, recalls and follow-up actions to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Provide wellbeing information and signpost employees to support services.
• Work with Occupational Health Advisors, Physicians and Technicians and wider stakeholders.
