Job description

Location: Chester, Cheshire.
Part time: 1 day per week
Shift times: Morning client office based - Afternoon remote from home
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £22,000 for 8 hours

We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join us at our client’s premises in Chester.
Here at HCA Healthcare UK, our Corporate Healthcare division boasts a 35-year history, dedicated to supporting employee physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Our expertise includes reactive care, prevention, psychological care, physical wellbeing, and downstream services through our own diagnostic centres, outpatient clinics, GP practices, and hospitals.

Your role involves supporting the client’s health and wellbeing initiatives, developing preventative strategies, and consulting on health risk management. Employed by HCA, you will collaborate with the client’s management and HR teams.
This is a 1-day per week role, with responsibilities including managing caseloads, providing medical care and guidance, conducting health assessments, and supporting HR with sickness, absence, and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • GMC Registration, licensed to practice in the UK
  • Occupational Health Diploma
  • Experience in providing OH services within a corporate setting or for a provider serving corporate clients
  • Excellent IT skills, familiarity with telemedicine and electronic records
  • Exceptional customer service and client partnership skills
