Are you an experienced Occupational Health Physician looking for a dynamic role in the railway industry? We are seeking a dedicated medical professional to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of railway employees.

About the Role

As an Occupational Health Physician, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide expert medical advice, conduct health assessments, and support employees in maintaining their fitness for safety-critical roles. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting medical assessments for safety-critical workers

Providing fitness-for-work evaluations and medical surveillance

Advising on workplace health risks and preventative strategies

Supporting employees with rehabilitation and return-to-work plans

Collaborating with HR, safety teams, and external health providers

Ensuring compliance with industry health and safety standards

What We're Looking For

Qualified Occupational Health Physician (DipOccMed minimum)

GMC registered with a background in occupational health

Experience in safety-critical industries (railway, transport, construction, etc.) is desirable

Understanding of railway medical standards (RIS-3751-TOM, Network Rail standards)

Excellent communication and decision-making skills
