A leading global biopharmaceutical company seeks an Occupational Health Project Manager to drive strategic projects enhancing employee health. The ideal candidate will manage project frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster continuous improvement initiatives. A strong background in project management and compliance is required.
Are you passionate about leading and managing strategic projects that contribute to the delivery of the GSK Employee Health vision? Do you have the vision and skills to manage a complex and diverse portfolio of projects? If so, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our project delivery framework and driving process improvement initiatives across current processes and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management and process optimisation.
The role holder will report to the Global Head of Occupational Health and work with a broad network of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health (OH), Employee Health & Wellbeing (EHW) and enterprise stakeholders to deliver the role.
In this role you will
Work with OH leaders across the enterprise to create and implement a robust project delivery framework to ensure projects are setup for success and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the OH team, identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimise current processes and services, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide mentorship and help embed the principles of project management and continuous improvement across the wider OH team.
Basic Experience, Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required experience to achieve our goals:
Bachelor or master’s level degree in a relevant subject areas e.g. OH, compliance, business management.
Strong Project Management experience, with a focus on managing project delivery frameworks and process improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to project manage projects/programmes involving multiple cross-geography and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
Experience working in large organisations, in a matrix environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Experience of use of process improvement methodologies including change management
Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to influence all levels of stakeholders in the business.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Experience of budget management is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to build trust and strengthen collaborative relationships with matrixed and remote team members across workstreams and functions
Demonstrated ability to identify, capture, share, and apply learnings and best-practice across projects
