Job summary

CK Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Health Nurse to join a biopharmaceutical company in Wrexham on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will provide occupational health services, lead a performance team, and ensure compliance while managing various health assessments. Candidates should possess an NMC qualification, current registration, and two years of occupational health experience. Job description

CK Group are recruiting for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a leading biopharmaceutical company, based at their site in Wrexham, on a hybrid basis. This role is part-time (2.5 days per week), on a contract basis for 3 months (inside IR35).

Salary:
PAYE £26.00 - £28.00 per hour.

Occupational Health Nurse Role:

  • Assist in providing occupational health (OH) services to the client.
  • Lead a dedicated performance team for 3 months to improve a sterile fill and finish (isolator) facility.
  • Ensure site compliance and conduct health surveillance medicals/assessments, including audiometry, spirometry, skin, lone worker, keystone vision screening, night worker, musculoskeletal assessments, and FLT medicals.
  • Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs, monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Manage caseloads, providing specialist clinical advice on work-related health issues.

Your Background:

  • NMC qualification in adult nursing.
  • Current NMC registration with evidence of revalidation.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in occupational health after obtaining the relevant diploma or degree (preferred).
  • Knowledge of work-related stress and anxiety, with ability to identify at-risk individuals.
  • Experience in health promotion campaigns.
