Job summary

gel Resourcing Ltd is assisting a client in Aberdeen to recruit an Occupational Health Manager. The role focuses on leading the OH nursing team across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality health surveillance and efficient management of referrals.

The successful candidate will promote clinical governance, best practice and compliance with the NMC Code, while supporting recruitment, induction and staff development in a busy OH service.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational health and governance.
• Experience leading or supporting a clinical team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• OH qualification such as SCPHN (Occupational Health) or related Diploma desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Occupational Health nursing team across multiple locations.
• Oversee delivery of health surveillance.
• Manage referrals and case workload efficiently.
• Promote clinical governance, best practice and NMC Code compliance.
• Support recruitment, induction, training and supervision of OH staff.
• Drive performance management and staff development.
• Collaborate with clients and senior management.
