Job description

OH Medical is currently looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our award-winning client and their in-house team located in Willand on a permanent basis working 3 days per week. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive health assessments and advisory services to the employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational health assessments including confined space, forklift drivers, and night shift workers.

  • Advise on legal compliance and health legislation changes to mitigate risks.

  • Facilitate home visits to support the return to work process for long-term sick employees.

  • Collaborate with management on referrals, capability assessments, and rehabilitation plans.

  • Administer food handler assessments and provide advice on preventative healthcare measures.


Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a qualification in Occupational Health.

  • Experience in occupational health settings, including conducting medical assessments and providing health advice.

  • Proficiency in DSE assessments, forklift truck medicals, and night worker medicals.
