Job summary

NHS Grampian GO Health Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (Band 6) for a full-time permanent position (36 hours). You will provide comprehensive occupational health assessment and advisory services to NHS Grampian staff and external contracts, delivering high-quality, professional care.

Key duties include completing around five management referral assessments daily, leading a small nursing team, and traveling to other Grampian clinic sites.

Qualifications

• Applicants should ideally have a recognised qualification in Occupational Health Nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years’ Occupational Health experience.
• Experience of working within the NHS.
• Excellent communication, organisational and clinical assessment skills.
• Evidence of leadership skills would be advantageous.
• A driving licence and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately five management referral assessments per day.
• Lead a small nursing team within this role.
• Travel to other clinic sites within Grampian while maintaining high clinical standards.
