Role: Occupational Health Advisor
Salary: GBP38-42k
Hours: 2-3 days in Horsham (2-3 days remote)
Location: Horsham/Hybrid

Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Advisors at Horsham. Our client provides effective service and advice on work-related issues and health surveillance programmes. The role is site-based at Horsham, with flexibility for home working (i.e. 2 days on site, 3 days at home, or 3 days/2 days).

Your role will include:
  1. Conducting health surveillance and providing reports
  2. Providing fitness for work reports
  3. Providing assessments and screening, reporting the outcomes in line with our clients' procedures
  4. Responsible for case management, providing reports for the OH Managers when required
  5. Providing clear advice regarding health and wellbeing
  6. Creating risk assessments and reporting appropriately if required
  7. Assisting with providing preventative strategies
  8. Conducting pre-placement reviews and fitness for work reports when required

Requirements:
  1. Registered General Nurse, NMC registered
  2. You must hold a valid NMC Pin
  3. For this position, you are required to hold an Occupational Health Qualification (degree/diploma), with previous OH experience, particularly case management and health surveillance
  4. Understanding of OH and employment legislation
