Job description

OH Medical is recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established in-house team at a luxury manufacturer in Dunbarton. This is a Full-Time 12-month Fixed Term Contract role, offering 2 days remote work (including one Friday) and 3 days onsite, with occasional travel within the central belt of Scotland.

The Remit:

This role involves delivering a first-class Occupational Health Service within the company's Occupational Health Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Health Surveillance (audiometry, spirometry, medicals for working at height, HAVS T1 & T2, skin assessments)
  • Case Management
  • Organising awareness days and health education programs
  • Mental health advice and promotion
  • Mental Health First Aider Training
  • Policy & Procedure review
  • Occasional travel to other sites within the Central Belt for clinics
Skills Required:

The successful candidate will be:

  • NMC Registered Nurse – Part 3 registration preferred
  • Qualified to degree/diploma level in Occupational Health (preferred)
  • Experienced in case management (essential)
  • Capable of conducting health surveillance and assessments (essential)
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication
  • Organised with ability to prioritise workload
  • IT literate, familiar with Cohort/Cority
  • Holder of a full driving licence and able to travel within the Central Belt
Salary & Benefits:

In return, you will receive:

  • £40,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
