Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
Work Schedule: Potentially 2 days at one site and 1 day at another site, both near the provided postcode.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Work primarily with clients from the engineering industry, food manufacturing, local authorities, and laboratories.
- Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and support to ensure the highest standards of occupational health.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver outstanding health services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Autonomous Workload Management: Prioritise and manage your own workload effectively.
- Vaccination and Blood Tests: Deliver vaccinations and blood tests in line with current protocols, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Client-Focused Service: Adopt a client-focused approach in all service delivery.
- Case Management: Efficiently manage and deliver reports in a timely manner.
- Health Assessments: Conduct pre-employment health assessments and health surveillance programmes.
- Health Promotion: Carry out health promotion and education activities.
- Safety Awareness: Participate in safety awareness initiatives within the organisation.
- Protocol Development: Assist in developing protocols and maintaining standards of practice.
- Database Management: Organise and maintain databases for mandatory documents.
- Confidential Record-Keeping: Maintain confidential and accurate electronic and written occupational health records.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: RN first level nurse, OH Diploma/Certificate.
- Experience: Immunisation/vaccination delivery, phlebotomy, health surveillance, case management.
- Knowledge: Understanding of equality and diversity, occupational health issues, relevant legislation, and confidentiality.
- Skills: Excellent communication, IT proficiency (MS Office), interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, initiative, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and team player.
Desirable Criteria:
- Qualifications: SCPHN (Part 3 NMC).
- Experience: Using OH database or similar.
