Job summary

Optima Health seeks an experienced Occupational Health Advisor for a prestigious Macclesfield pharmaceutical contract. The role involves 3 days onsite at the client office and 2 remote days, with duties including case management, health surveillance and pre-employment screenings.

You will advise on physical and mental health, deliver high-quality occupational health services, and benefit from a strong development program and professional training support.

Qualifications

  • NMC registration as a practicing nurse with relevant occupational health experience.
  • Proven track record in Occupational Health Advisor roles.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake case management (face-to-face and remote) and health surveillance.
  • Conduct pre-employment, fitness for work screenings and workplace assessments.
  • Advise employees on physical and mental health, ensuring high standards of care.

Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum + benefits pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time or Part time - Part time would be 4 days per week, 3 days on site

Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role

Role Summary

This role will be working on a prestigious pharmaceutical contract in Macclesfield, It will involve 3 days onsite at the client office Macclesfield undertaking case management (face to face and remote) and health surveillance/fitness to work and as such training and recent experience in this will be essential. The other 2 days will be remote cases management for a variety of clients.

This will be a varied role which will involve undertaking workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to health. You will undertake health surveillance, pre-employment, and fitness for work screenings where appropriate. You will also advise employees on both physical and mental health problems, all the while maintaining the highest standards of occupational healthcare.

Who Are We Looking For?
  • Registered General Nurse with proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Ability to travel to client site where required on a weekly basis.
  • HAVS, Audio & Spirometry would be desirable however not essential
