Duration: 12 months part (time 4 days a week/ 29 hours a week)

Our client is seeking a versatile individual to join their team in the UK on a temporary contract. They are looking for an experienced Medical - Occupational Health Advisor who can contribute to various projects and be an active part of their established team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring 100% compliance with all applicable Health and Safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
  2. Ensuring the company complies with relevant regulatory laws and regulations, including global colleague wellness medical standards.
  3. Performing Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) clinical operational activities, such as pre-employment medical exams, periodic medical surveillance, absenteeism management, workplace adjustments, investigation of workplace illnesses and injuries, risk assessments (including pregnancy), vision exams, vaccinations (single or programs), health assessments, and providing first aid advice.
  4. Managing site medical supplies and equipment maintenance, including servicing and calibration.
  5. Providing case management, including report writing, note-taking, and signposting colleagues to health benefits for health-related issues to support sick leave management.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • NMC registered Staff Nurse or equivalent qualification.
  • Occupational Health Nurse certification is required, along with a diploma or degree in OH, Public Health Nursing, or an equivalent field.
  • Entry onto Part 3 of the NMC register as a SCPHN/OH branch is desirable.
