An established industry player in defense is seeking a proactive Occupational Health Advisor to join their expanding team. This role, based in Bristol, involves providing high-quality occupational health services, including health screenings and case management. Salary: Circa £48,000 or hourly rate equivalent depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
Due to expansion of our OH team, we are seeking a temporary Occupational Health Advisor for up to 6 months (part-time considered), with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing (OH&W) Team.
The OH&W Team is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of all MBDA employees by providing comprehensive internal and external services.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to developing and delivering a high-quality OH service, providing specialist knowledge responsive to MBDA UK's needs, ensuring service delivery aligns with best practices, policies, and legislative requirements.

What you need:
Experience in assessments, surveillance, case management, and responding to queries is required. You should have solid clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and be an NMC registered Nurse with occupational health experience. A current SCPHN qualification is preferred, along with evidence of career progression and complex case management expertise. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including motivating, negotiating, and influencing abilities.
