Yorkshire Water is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our in-house Occupational Health Department. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on employee health and wellbeing while working in a flexible hybrid environment.

As part of our Occupational Health team, you will support the mental health needs of employees, conduct assessments, and provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance workplace wellbeing. While experience in occupational health is advantageous, it is not essential.

Where you fit in:

As our Occupational Health Advisor you will

• Conduct mental health assessments and screenings for employees referred by managers and occupational health practitioners.
• Assess fitness for work and recommend workplace adjustments to support mental wellbeing.
• Collaborate with wellbeing leads, managers, and supervisors to offer guidance on managing workplace stressors to protect mental health
• Develop and implement individualised care plans focusing on recovery, resilience, and return-to-work strategies.
• Deliver health promotion campaigns and training sessions related to mental health in the workplace and support the development of the occupational health and wellbeing business strategy.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Proven experience in mental health care, including patient assessments and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear advice to managers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Interest or experience in occupational health is desirable but not mandatory.
