We are looking for an Occupancy Planner to join our Occupancy Planning and Management team in the Europe Region. In this role, you will analyze campus-level space availability, workplace conditions, and headcount projections by local business unit. You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and updating space data to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for site and campus level customer space requests and planning questions as per Region specific process.
- Supply key site data for housing initiatives, including attendance metrics, utilization rates, space type ratio gaps, projected RSM, most/least used spaces, site perception, pinch points, and review of meeting/huddle room locations and ratios.
- Attend meetings for renovation projects, small projects, and project moves.
- Contribute to strategic planning with team members to resolve campus/building-specific forecasts and issues.
- Develop migration plans and sequencing of group-level relocations.
- Understand preliminary program requirements for departments and buildings.
- Develop stacking diagrams by location, building, and floor.
- Apply Hybrid work and Design for Attendance principles to solutions.
- Lead utilization studies using sensors, manual observations, and badge swipe data.
- Present JLL Occupancy Planning Benchmarking and share industry trends.
- Utilize knowledge of JLL and industry occupancy planning technologies.
- Understand and apply AI to occupancy planning processes.
Data Management and Reporting
- Provide updates on occupancy data, housing projects, and initiatives for client reports and presentations.
- Participate in quarterly capacity and population audits.
- Ensure site capacity, population, seat assignments, and floorplans are accurate in FMS/SPACE.
- Report supply, capacity, and inventory forecasts.
- Measure and report cost savings and value-added contributions.
Relationships
Foster critical relationships to collaborate with various stakeholders including the Client's Workplace Strategy Team, Real Estate Board, HR, external partners, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years experience in facilities, space planning, occupancy management, or CAD/CAFM roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with office utilization, design principles, and hybrid work trends.
- Attention to detail and spatial creativity.
- Strong data storytelling abilities.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- AutoCAD and FMS proficiency are desirable.
