Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a qualified Obstetrics Sonographer to join an NHS obstetrics service in South Yorkshire. The role focuses on delivering high-quality obstetric imaging, including nuchal scans, and requires HCPC registration and NHS experience.

You will work in a supportive team, maintain DQASS reporting, ensure patient comfort and safety, and contribute to service efficiency. Hours are weekday; full-time position.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required to practice.
• Minimum 6 months NHS ultrasound experience.
• Up-to-date DQASS plot experience.
• Proven obstetric ultrasound competency including nuchal scans.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound examinations, including nuchal scans, to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting, ensuring compliance with DQASS requirements.
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during all examinations.
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the ultrasound service.
