Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum Obstetrics Sonographer for South Yorkshire. The role offers an immediate start on a month-by-month rolling contract, with hours 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, and pay of £49–£54 per hour.

You will perform obstetric scans, produce high-quality images, and provide detailed reports to referring clinicians while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent with a postgraduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Extensive obstetric ultrasound experience, ideally Band 7.
• Proficient with advanced ultrasound equipment.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric imaging protocols and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development.
