A leading company in Engineering seeks an experienced Obsolescence Engineer to join their Component Engineering team. This role involves managing the risks of obsolescence, developing internal standards, and collaborating across multiple departments. With a strong focus on innovation and employee support, candidates should have a STEM degree and proven experience in component engineering.
Location: Stevenage or Bolton
Salary: Up to £45,000 P/A d.o.e. + benefits (plus Overtime, Flexi and Bonus)
Hours: 37 hours per week

The company is looking for an experienced Obsolescence Engineer to join their Component Engineering team to help shape and play an important part in providing support across the business.
You’ll play a critical role in managing and mitigating the risks associated with obsolescence in the product lifecycle. The role demands a passionate professional who can drive innovative solutions to ensure the long-term availability and reliability of components.
The role resides within an Electronic Engineering environment that has an opportunity to engage with all stakeholders across the business from Projects, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service Support and many more.
