Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a SC-cleared Project Manager for a 12-month transformation programme. The role is 3 days per week onsite, with primary location in Newcastle and a secondary site in Birmingham, supporting a public sector client.

You will lead complex technical delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and work with agile and DevOps practices under a delivery lead with subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• Public sector experience, ideally UK government/health & public sector.
• SC clearance strongly preferred; BPSS acceptable for non-production work.
• Strong track record delivering complex technical transformation programmes.
• Experience with DevOps-focused delivery and tooling.
• Comfort working in a hybrid Agile environment with Scrum/Kanban ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a complex transformation to migrate observability platforms across the estate (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders under the delivery lead.
• Ensure delivery aligns with T&M/SoW constraints and commercial realities.
• Operate within UK public sector context and security requirements (BPSS/SC).
