The Role:

Our client, a respected leader in the broadcasting and advanced technology space, are seeking aOB Project Engineerto join their London facility. This role is ideal for someone experienced in Projects in the Outside Broadcast Industry, working on a variety of high-spec equipment. You will be responsible for OB truck installations, fibre delivery, and mobile setups to capture high-impact racing moments under tight constraints. The individual will report to the Engineering Manager, and work within a tight-knit project engineering team.

What You'll Need:

  • Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Electronics, Broadcast or Media Engineering.
  • To be hands-on work with equipment both in-studio and in the field, with a 70/30 project delivery to hands-on work split, with a more even split during high season.
  • Be able to manage project delivery from inception to execution, liaising with operational and technical teams, and potentially training others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Be a problem solver! Someone who loves playing with all of the technology and finding solutions in order to deliver innovation and on projects.
  • Experience with broadcast system design, integration, and technical project delivery in live event environments.
  • Strong understanding of IP/networked broadcast systems and hands-on field engineering experience.
  • Exposure to OB operations, including setup and troubleshooting in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
