Job summary

Queen Square Recruitment seeks an experienced OAT Tester to support a Network modernization Programme in Bristol. You will perform OAT across newly deployed Juniper wired and wireless networks, ensuring designs meet specs and readiness before handover to BAU.

You will link physical deployment teams with UAT, focusing on non‑functional validation and a solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking and Wi‑Fi APs.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of non-functional testing principles within IT/network environments.
• Knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and Wi‑Fi deployment and configuration.
• Ability to use network test tools and interpret monitoring output clearly.
• Awareness of Juniper equipment or public sector/education IT projects.
• Understanding of ITSM tools like ServiceNow and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Perform Operational Acceptance Testing across newly deployed Juniper wired and wireless networks.
• Validate that implementations meet design specs, performance, and readiness before handover.
• Act as the link between deployment teams and user acceptance testing teams; focus on non‑functional validation and documentation.
