Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a senior leader responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations with full accountability for performance, environmental permits, and team management.

You will lead the site leadership team, drive continuous improvement, oversee P&L and cost control, ensure HSE compliance, and act as the primary interface with regulators and external stakeholders in a global clean-energy organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Energy-from-Waste, power generation, or similar process industries.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Proven leadership with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all HSE policies and procedures.
• Ensure robust HSE monitoring, reporting, and compliance with legal and permit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Proven experience within Energy-from-Waste, power generation, or similar process industries.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and strong decision-making / problem-solving skills in complex operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
