Job summary

Inch Cape Offshore Limited, Montrose, Scotland, is seeking an O&M Planner – Works Coordinator to lead planning and coordination of offshore maintenance for the Inch Cape wind farm. The role ensures safe, fully resourced, and efficiently scheduled activities in the Operations & Maintenance phase.

The candidate will manage CMMS systems, coordinate vessel schedules, and drive continuous improvement, KPI reporting, and regulatory compliance across the project.

Qualifications

  • Offshore wind O&M experience preferred.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning.
  • Strong safety leadership and risk awareness.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and OEMs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed maintenance schedules (annual, quarterly, weekly, daily offshore plans).
  • Create work packages for scheduled and corrective maintenance, campaigns, and inspections.
  • Act as CMMS Super User for planning and backlog management.
  • Coordinate offshore vessel schedules, rotations, and contractor mobilisations.
  • Manage materials, logistics, spares, and tool availability for work scopes.
  • Report KPI performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Inch Cape is a 1080MW offshore wind farm situated 15km from the Angus coast in the North Sea. The power it generates will be transmitted 85 kilometres to a new substation at Cockenzie, in East Lothian from where it will enter the national transmission system. Inch Cape is a more than £3 billion infrastructure project that will make a significant contribution to the UK’s carbon emissions reduction targets. Once complete its 72 turbines will generate enough electricity to power almost half the homes in Scotland.

Summary of Assignment:

The Wind Farm Planner / Works Coordinator is responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination and optimisation of all maintenance activities undertaken during the Operations & Maintenance phase of the offshore wind farm.

Maintenance Planning:

Develop detailed maintenance schedules covering:

  • Annual maintenance

  • Daily offshore work plans

Develop work packages for:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Corrective maintenance
  • Campaign work
  • Defect rectification
  • Statutory inspections

Ensure all maintenance activities are aligned with OEM recommendations and Asset Management Plans.

CMMS Management

Act as CMMS Super User for maintenance planning. Typical systems include:
