Job summary

Nottingham Forest Netball is seeking an ambitious NXT GEN Head Coach to drive the next generation within our performance pathway. You will lead planning, delivery and review of the programme, shaping technical, tactical and leadership development while aligning with the club’s wider philosophy.

The role requires creating a high-performance environment, strong culture, and clear progression toward NSL and England pathways, partnering with performance staff and senior coaches across Nottingham

Qualifications

• Experience within NPL, NXT GEN, or equivalent high-performance environments.
• Level 2 England Netball coaching qualification required.
• Strong technical and tactical knowledge of netball.
• Experience developing young or emerging athletes.
• Understanding the demands of elite performance environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational ability.
• Ability to create positive, challenging and inclusive environments.
• Experience planning, delivering and reviewing structured training programmes.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive and individualized feedback.
• Commitment to safeguarding and athlete wellbeing and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and review of the NXT GEN programme.
• Develop athletes technically, tactically, physically and psychologically.
• Create an environment with high standards, accountability, learning and enjoyment.
• Develop a clear Nottingham Forest style of play.
• Support athletes to meet elite and professional netball demands.
• Identify and maximise individual athlete potential.
• Establish clear pathways between NXT GEN, NSL Programme and England Netball pathways.
• Collaborate with performance staff and coaches across the club.
