Job description

As a Nutritionist in ABL's specialist weight management programme, you will work with adults to support, motivate, and advise those who are currently obese. You will be passionate about helping individuals initiate life-changing processes for permanent and continued weight loss and maintenance. You will join a large team of behaviour change specialists at ABL Health, including Specialist Lifestyle Coaches, Nutritionists, Dietitians, GPs, Psychotherapists, and Exercise Specialists, to deliver evidence-based, holistic, and realistic weight management in the community.

Main duties of the job:

  • Understand challenges and barriers adults face concerning their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Engage with and build rapport with adults from diverse communities across Lincolnshire.
  • Deliver existing weight management programmes and support the development of new nutrition and exercise initiatives tailored to client needs.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and motivational change centered on the client.
  • Have a background in nutrition, exercise, public health, community health, or adult and/or family weight management.
  • Be an excellent team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
