YourRecruit Ltd is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join a children’s residential care team in Milton Keynes. You will provide overnight care, ensure children are safe, settled and supported through the night, and work independently while keeping the wider team informed.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willing to work towards one, a Full UK driving licence, and experience with trauma-informed care.

Formación

• Experience working with children and young people in care settings.
• Ability to follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Willingness to work waking night shifts and undertake training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overnight support to children in a residential home.
• Maintain welfare checks and respond to incidents during the night.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Administer medication where trained and authorised.
• Support behaviour using trauma-informed approaches and PBS.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
