Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.
  • Provide a nurturing approach to behaviour management, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress.
  • Track, assess, and report on student achievements.
  • Promote resilience, confidence, and a love of learning.
Requirements
  • QTS, PGCE, or relevant teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
